I bought one of these before a few years ago. I finally got a deckmate and the adapter cracked at the edge so I wanted to try to get a backup in case it breaks.
The new one is way more sturdy. I can see you redesigned it, made the ends thicker that attach to the win 4, as well as change the print direction so that the grains aren't horizontal on the ends, causing a weak point.

Excellent quality. Not loose at all and worked instantly. Super glad to have FrankenQuest3. Little tip - DO NOT attempt to unscrew the earbuds to “switch them around” for the headphone cable. They have a fastener clip native to the side they came off of. Not sure if some Vive DAS have a different design but mine were not able to be switched. I had to put the headphone jack cable around the back and tuck them from the center of the headset under the Velcro I had from VRCover. See the pic….I didn't tuck in the center part behind the leather velcro in it but you get the point!
