Great device. Exactly what I needed!
Best headset mounting system I've ever used as a VR developer. Open face system works really well. Simple, yet clever and flexible design that allows you to perfectly align the AVP. Improves the field of view of the headset, since you can get the lens closer to your eyes without the facial interface, and it feels more natural being able to see around the edge of the headset.
Only downside is the headset gradually slides downward over time, since there's no counterweight at the back of the Apple Vision Pro. I fixed this by swapping the fabric head pad with a honeycomb silicone pad I took off my BoboVR S3 headstrap. This has much more grip than the fabric pad, so the headset stays perfectly in place, which is important for consistent eyetracking. The honeycomb silicone pad can't be purchased separately from BoboVR, though, so if the creator of this AVP kit included a honeycomb silicone pad option, that'd make this kit perfect. Maybe make it thicker than BoboVR's silicone pad, since those are designed to fit at the back of the head instead of the front.

I've spent far more time in the Vision Pro than possibly any typical customer, so I had gotten complacent with how the Vision Pro just had to "hurt" for 5-10 minutes when you're wearing it and how you'd have to adjust it on your face every once in a while to prevent too much pressure from accumulating. On a whim, a friend and I started looking into third-party attachments to see if anybody had a better solution, and Tyco thankfully came up in a couple YouTube videos. The glowing reviews piqued our interest, and in spite of some customs annoyances due to living in Germany, I received the Basic Kit attachment in early December.
I have no other third-party attachments to compare it to, but in my opinion, this one is revolutionary. I no longer feel any pressure at all when wearing the headset -- I also don't have any marks left on my face even after wearing it for hours. It's comfortable and doesn't feel any more likely to fall off than with the regular dual knit or loop bands, and thanks to the two spacer sizings included by Tyco, the headset can be worn with or without a light seal (the latter is a huge improvement to the perceived quality of life on the headset, by the way -- it's much more like a pair of glasses now!). Installing and removing the attachment is also very simple, taking less than a minute to do (not that you'll ever need to do it unless you're packing up the headset), and even more importantly, all of the pieces are easily replaceable since they're 3D printed and the padding attaches using Velcro.
Tyco should be very proud of his industrial design achievement here. Anybody who owns a Vision Pro and uses it at all should do themselves a favor and get this attachment!
The Dual Knit Kit is the only one of about 6 different Vision Pro headsets that really help to reduce the discomfort.
